The Brief:

We were asked to design and create a 6th Form Study Centre and LRC complete with teaching

space in the old gymnasium

 

What we did:

  -  New windows were installed to replace the old, leaking units

  -  The entire space was re-plastered and decorated throughout

  -  High level electrical trays were installed to house the electric and data cabling

  -  Lighting was designed and installed to create an industrial look

  -  Flooring was laid in different shades of grey to clearly define the different areas

  -  A double meeting acoustic POD was installed to provide areas for confidential, or sound sensitive, meetings/presentations

  -  Oak Library Shelving was installed into the LRC space

  -  Grey Study workstations and Walnut circular tables were provided for 6th Form Study

  -  Soft Seating areas were created complete with Sofas, Tables and USB charging points for Group Study

  -  A bespoke workspace was designed and installed for the Head of 6th Form
